So where do I start? I guess from the beginning, last year I had Llew as my very first coach, rearing to go and make some serious gains before competing this year. Loving life, eating what I wanted (within my macros ofc) I trained hard and enjoyed every minute. Then I took a break, had a new coach then took another break.... the thought of competing SCARES me! Fast forward to now (July 2019) we started a mini cut not so long ago, my first proper cut with a coach. 4 weeks in everything’s great, then BOOM life comes and stomps all over my goals/progress, family events, friends staying over ;I’m sad, frustrated and angry at myself. However I soon got over this, told Llew the truth about messing up my diet and hardly being able to train and as expected he put me at ease, told me it’s not the end of the world, changed up my macros / training and knew what the problem was without me having to tell him. Fast forward to this very day, I have a minor back injury, do you think he ignored it and made me train anyway? No he listened to what his client needed and wanted and supported them fully. So once I’m recovered I’ll be focusing on slowly getting my squats heavier and smashing little goals along the way. So yeah thats my little/big story about how many times I’ve failed but gotten right back up and that’s what it’s about.
